Place a large covered pot of water on the stove to boil. Salt the water and cook the pasta to al dente. Heads up: You’ll need some of the pasta cooking water before you drain the pasta.

Season the shrimp with salt and pepper.

While the pasta cooks, heat the EVOO in a deep skillet and brown the garlic slices. Remove the garlic and reserve. Add the shrimp and cook for 3 to 4 minutes. Add the red pepper flakes, oregano, olives, wine, and lemon zest and cook together for a couple more minutes. Remove from the heat. Add a ladle of the starchy pasta cooking water to the sauce, then add the lemon juice. Add the drained pasta to the skillet. Let the pasta absorb the juices for a minute, then toss with the parsley, feta, and reserved garlic slices. Use tongs to pull the pasta from the skillet, giving it a turn to twist in as many ingredients as possible. Then, use the tongs to remove and arrange the shrimp and ingredients that may remain in the pan, distributing them evenly among the portions.
